Julia Arnold Poetry

Sticky pink fingertips

touching my face,

a smile

revealing slightly

crooked

tiny white teeth,

and a sandpaper tongue

red from lollipop.

Peachy soft feet

to pet and kiss,

a perfectly round

squishy tummy,

I can't help but

tickle.

I wonder

who else

will love her

as wholly as I do.

Her perfectly

imperfect

self.

Her beautiful

little soul.
