Let’s raise a glass to the real Super Bowl champion: Pink. The 38-year-old mom boss sang the National Anthem on Sunday while struggling to recover from the flu.

In true troll fashion, a Twitter user said, “If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it 1000 times. Pink sucks and if you like her singing you’re dumb #SuperBowl.”

Not one to back down, Pink quoted the nasty tweet and said, “Yeah but altleast [sic] I suck while singing our countries [sic] national anthem, and you just suck by yourself on a dirty couch.”

While practicing for her performance, Pink shared that she most definitely got the flu from her kids.

“Trying to practice the flu away. I’ve been waiting to sing this song since 1991 when I saw my idol, Whitney Houston, own this song. And now, my chance has finally come. And it just so happens that this chance comes when I have two small Petri dish kids who literally cough INTO MY MOUTH and rub their snot on my cheek. You can’t write this stuff I swear!”

“I promise I will do my best, as I always do. As far as the gremlins that got me into this mess, you can cough at me for the rest of your lives. If it’s a contest, babies, you win.”

Ugh, so relatable. Am I right, mamas?

And for everyone criticizing Pink for chewing gum before her performance? Don’t even try. It was a throat lozenge.
