To date, we have 55 Mother's Day Eve parties happening in 27 states across North America!

We asked five moms to share what Mother's Day Eve means to them and what they are most looking forward to on Saturday, May 10th!

Tammi Salas—Valley Ford, CA
Mother's Day eve will mean getting together with a few mamas I know and acknowledging all of the important work we do on a daily basis. Pat each other on the back, raise a glass and toast (maybe even roast?) each other. Celebrate how awesome we are individually and as a group. I'm looking forward to spending an evening with mothers from my community.  Moms I don't see every day, week or even month. We're all busy with different work, life and mothering schedules. I'm looking forward to a bit of bonding and an excuse to entertain these lovely ladies in my home.

Kate Groepper—Maple Valley, WA
Mother's day eve is a night to chat, connect, story tell, laugh, cry and reflect with other mama's in my community. It's a time to relish our wins and relive our losses in order to build up each other. Its a reminder that I am on a journey; learning, tripping, falling, growing, and that I am not alone. I'm excited to connect the many mamas in my life to each other, listen to their stories and watch as new relationships are built.

Emma Woodward—Boston, MA
Mother's Day Eve means taking an evening to myself to head out with my fellow Mamas for some much needed girl time. Most of my mom friends are stay at home moms so it's always fun to get out without the kids! This is my first Mother's Day Eve! I am looking forward to a night out for dinner, drinks and laughs!

Nicki Poer—Kalamazoo, MI
Mother's Day Eve means that I can celebrate being a mama with the only other people who truly understand…other mamas. Talking with my friends. Just being in a room with them and relaxing. Celebrating us.

Kenya Johnson—Marietta, GA
Mother's Day eve allows us an extra day to be pampered for all that Mom's do. It may be the only day that some Mom's get to celebrate. I am looking forward to big, big smiles and the great feeling of making smiles happen.

Julie Buckley—Rockville Center, NY
Mother's Day Eve means taking responsibility for the celebration of being a mother. It means choosing whatever would be fun or relaxing or meaningful and doing it, rather than waiting for someone to do or arrange it for me. I'm most looking forward to connecting with a fellow moms on MDE!
