Day in the Life of Mamalode: MotherHustle™ Team Mamalode April 14, 2018 Takeover Why hello there, mamas of #Mamalode. ✨ I'm @emilycretella, founder of @MotherHustle — a online community and publication for creative mompreneurs (mom who run, or dream about running, a creative business.) ✨ I'm also a content marketing strategist + copywriter, a business owner (cursivecontent .com), and a mama to two fiery little ladies, ages 7 and 5. ✨ I am so excited to be bringing you a glimpse at my crazy #motherhustle today — so stick with me here and in mamalode's Insta Stories. You'll see me running my business while prepping for vacation (woohoo, #springbreak!) AND coordinating an arts and craft project for my kindergartener's class. ✨ It's going to be a crazy one! Glad you're helping me get through it. We're in this together today! ~ Xo @emilycretella / @motherhustle … ? = community ? = business ⏰ = time/energy ? = support ? = creativity ? = confidence ?= self care/"me" time ?= love❓ = something else! A post shared by mamalode (@mamalode) on Apr 12, 2018 at 7:32am PDT It's true. I've seen it. ✨ SO. I know we're hanging out through the screen today, but just want to put this reminder out there … mamas, don't let the shiny objects + numbers distract you. Focus on what makes you fulfilled in real life, away from the screen. Judge your success on those terms. ✨ XO ~ @emilycretella / @motherhustle #mymotherhustle A post shared by mamalode (@mamalode) on Apr 12, 2018 at 9:01am PDT "If I'm going to be spending time away from my kids, I better be spending it on something that fulfills me." ✨ On @motherhustle, we talk a lot about redefining our success and finding what fulfills us — as mothers, as individuals, and as entrepreneurs. Because success is not a one-size-fits-all thing. I've now been in business for myself for almost seven years, and my idea of "success" has changed drastically over that time. ✨ So I'm curious to know: has motherhood made an impact on how you view success? XO ~ @emilycretella / @motherhustle #mymotherhustle (?: @kristynmillerphotography) A post shared by mamalode (@mamalode) on Apr 12, 2018 at 10:32am PDT This, right here, #mamalode mamas. This is #MyMotherHustle. This is why I run a business, and a blog, and want to rip my hair out sometimes. This little huddle is my everything. ✨ XO ~ @emilycretella / @motherhustle (?: @kristynmillerphotography) A post shared by mamalode (@mamalode) on Apr 12, 2018 at 1:01pm PDT In my copywriting business, and over at @motherhustle, I think a lot about the pressure to grow. To launch. To be quick about progress. To make big moves and go for the gold and chase the dollar. ✨ And instead of being motivated by that message, it makes me exhausted. It makes me feel like I'm in a constant chase. Like I can't let my mind rest or relax because that's lazy and I'm missing out. ✨ So I'm rebelling. I'm embracing the opportunity to grow slow + steady. To follow an unknown path with excitement rather than trepidation. ✨ Because it doesn't all have to be done today, mama. Or tomorrow. Or this year. Consider this your permission to slow it down a notch. You with me, #mamalode mamas?? ✨ XO ~ @emilycretella #mymotherhustle A post shared by mamalode (@mamalode) on Apr 12, 2018 at 3:01pm PDT About the AuthorTeam Mamalode Click here to comment on this article Facebook Comments Related
