I have known Sherre Hirsch since I was 12 years old at camp. I have distinct memories of her cheerfully convincing me to do aerobics with her to the GoGos (dating ourselves) before getting frozen yogurt and talking about all of MY problems. Her cheerleading spirit, boundless energy and incredible listening skills have only grown and are now benefitting four children (Emet/13, Eden/11, London/8 and Levi/6), her husband Jeff – and thousands of people all over the world in her roles as Author, Rabbi and Spiritual Life Consultant for Canyon Ranch Spas.
But what I love about Sherre is that she walks her talk. She carpools, she goes to pray, she gives speeches, she finds the best education for her kids, which fits each of their unique personalities. She goes to hip hop and yoga and is always connecting and helping others. The best part about her is that she keeps it real and doesn't try to come across as having it all together -and there is a huge pressure to do so while living in Los Angeles. She is the most Bad Ass Mom I know. And I am so grateful to have her in my life. You can share in her BAMness – because she's just launched a new book called Thresholds: How to Live Fearlessly and Regret-Free, which gives realistic and actionable tools to be more of a BAM when you're not feeling so Bad Ass.
