Intention

Well, Mamaloders, it is a new year, and one that seems determined to push us all into intention.

At our office we have been talking a lot about what does Mamalode DO—what is the purpose? What is the action we want to take? What is the message?

So we want to kick off this year with INTENTION, and push all of you to share yours.

Our intention is to lead, create and share the most representative conversation about what parenting is really about, its importance and its impact. We intend to broaden the conversation to what is happening in the world.

Everyday you as parents change the world. There is truly nothing more impactful than the accumulation of the tiny moments with your children. We are raising the future.

We will be building an editorial advisory board to make sure that we are not creating an echo chamber of experiences (more details on this soon) as well as writing our Standards Of Practice creating a code of alignment for seeking and supporting businesses we want to be aligned with and businesses who are contributing members of this community.

Years ago we said we wanted a business model as meaningful as our product, but now that is clearer than ever—this platform is built on trust.  Of all the bells and whistles that we can build into a website, your trust is our most valuable feature.

Mamalode has always been a place for authentic, first person stories, and we will continue to provide this space, but we want to have first person with context—what is the larger conversation around your experience? Is it part of what is happening in the world? What is the message within your story? What is your point of view?

Dig deep, be brave, share your story and why it is important (on our website, in print, on podcast, video or social media)—because what you do and who you are and what happens to you is IMPORTANT and we together can raise the future we dream of.
