How often have you turned to “Dr. Google” to answer your more sensitive health questions, or even your everyday health inquiries? It’s likely happened more than once, and you likely ended up even more scared and confused than when you started your search. HelloFlo and VProud are two amazing businesses that are teaming up to give women a new source of information on health issues, and solve the “Dr. Google” problem.

HelloFlo, a health and wellness resource for women and girls that creates crazy-viral videos and VProud, a video-driven conversation platform started by former YouTubers, have created Master Classes to provide health and parenting information. The classes are given via video and are taught by the best doctors and experts in their fields.

Mamalode is ecstatic to partnering with VProud and HelloFlo for the month of November. Our theme for the month is sharing, so in keeping with our theme we’d like to share some Mamalode stories about the health issues the Master Classes are covering.

Mamaloders have plenty of experience with nutrition and balancing sugar in their kids’ and their own diets.

Parents are constantly trying to teach their kids healthy eating habits, but sometimes it’s not easy when even the schools seem to be encouraging sugar overload.

If your child has diabetes or if the disease runs in your family, the need to control sugar intake is even direr. It doesn’t help to obsess over how much sugar you or your kids are eating in a day, but it is something to be mindful of.

There are also some great book reviews on Mamalode about teaching healthy eating habits, It’s Not About the Broccoli is a great one. It’s normal to stress about what you or your family is eating, just don’t get lost in all the opinions.

It always helps to have the best, most reliable information when trying to decide how much sugar or carbs to include in your diets.

Don’t turn to “Dr. Google” to answer your nutrition questions when you can turn instead to HelloFlo and VProud’s Master Classes to get reliable, correct information.
