October — Generations

October — Generations

When my daughter, now 15, was in seventh grade, she undertook a special project to learn about her heritage. Unlike many of her peers, she had the unique opportunity to speak with GREAT grandparents, as well as grandparents and parents, who could help her piece together the story of where she’s from.

I treasure her delightful, anecdotal accounts because they tell my story too. And because they represent 100 years of dreams, hard work and love that have shaped mine. The stories of their lives help me understand and remember who I am, keep me focused on what’s important and inspire me to seek the path that is now my mine to follow. They make me think about the story I want to leave behind…

This month Mamalode is honored to partner with Hyland’s—a company that has been providing safe and natural homeopathic medicines to families for over a century—to bring you a series of stories about GENERATIONS of moms. Your stories. And we can’t think of a better sponsor for this theme. Hyland’s products have been passed down from great grandmothers to grandmothers to mothers and daughters to help first-time parents provide natural relief to common ailments during baby’s first years. Moms breathe a sigh of relief with Hyland’s gentle baby medicines.

This month, your words fill our hearts with joy, bring tears to our eyes and give us an opportunity to share in our collective past and present. For this, we thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
